There is a lot of talk concerning a war declared by sparta. They aren't very happy that T.O.P. took the top alliance spot. They are calling the war The Black Hole war and it may happen soon. Is this just a bluff or is this for real. Tell Me what you think.

Rank is not actually all that important to politics. Even if people care about their rank, it's an entirely separate issue from political standing and war is a political mechanism.
[OOC]Declaring war over alliance rank would be like quitting your job so you could do better in CN. Yes, it's something you might like and a method that could possibly work for obtaining it, but it demonstrates some pretty idiotic priorities all the same[/OOC]

I could see that war happening, but not over alliance rank. To my knowledge there are some unresolved differences between the Superfriend alliances and the Citadel alliances, and although Sparta is allied with MHA (which is a Gremlins vassal), more likely than not Sparta will have cast its lot in with the Superfriends.

Tsk tsk... We are clearly working to unite Sparta and The Grämlins against Paradoxia, so that we don't need to sweat in another war (that is a pretty ugly thing, if you ask me, and something we're completely unprepared for, as you very well know already).
We just want that #1 spot to brag about it with our girlfriends and boyfriends (and with Chill), we're just like that. Then we will leave it to the GPA to later have an excuse to destroy them, and have TDO become again the biggest neutral alliance.
In fact, we do all of this for TDO, actually.
TDO
YAWN... Now, where was me?
Oh, yes: it's true that we're really the vassals of The Grämlins, anyway. Really.
We're the only ones actually using the ümlaut so they asked to us first, and being us the hoopy froods that you all know... Sorry TOP, maybe next time?

You still have a long way to go towards becoming a member of TOP, if you are even accepted.Nevermind, you've been denied.

There were perfectly obvious political reasons to declare war on GPA that had nothing to do with the CB as stated or the fact that they were #1. It was still completely unnecessary, but the fact that so many people think it was just about being #1 demonstrates a surprising lack of critical thought.

There is only one WorkingClassRuler and he still belongs to the MHA! Oh, you said WRC. That is something completely different. Now to carry on with the conspiracy theory of the day; If TOP destroys Sparta, that would make them the defacto new evil order of Bob. I cannot confirm/nor deny that the past several nights have consisted of making target lists.
On this: sorry, Sparta, but based on the performance of your top-tier nations last war they'd probably roll right over for TOP if this war happened. TOP would beat everyone 30k+ NS down and Sparta would be forced to surrender or face never being able to grow above 30k else they be knocked right on down like that arcade game with gophers and a mallet.
If Sparta *didn't* want to surrender I could see them pausing at 25k, buying the MP and SDI, and saving up like $300m, then building up to 31k NS and nuking TOP, and doing this over and over and over again. But they'd probably just surrender..
