The FAFB is not allowing aircraft to be protected in nuclear attacks. I recently was nuked and lost 75% of my airforce in spite of the fact that I had an FAFB at the time of nuking and my total aircraft count was below 20 (so none of them should have been lost).

Foreign Air Force Base - $700,000 - Raises the aircraft limit +20 for your nation and increases the number of aircraft that can be sent in each attack mission +20.

Why would that affect nuclear losses...?

Nuclear weapons are extremely devastating to nations being attacked by them. Nuclear weapons completely .............. reduce defending aircraft by 75% (aircraft supported by the Foreign Airforce Base wonder and aircraft carriers are reduced at a lower percentage),

Aircraft supported by a FAFB or carrier are supposed to be immune to it, however, it seems that with small aircraft numbers this does not work :'(

this is (well was) pretty important >.<

The reduced at a lower percentage only applies when aircraft is being supported by the Foreign Airforce Base (ie. You have more aircraft than the default limit).
