My alliance The Phoenix Collective (TPC) has recently had a small group of nations set their "Alliance Affiliation" to the same as ours and then began attacking other alliances. These nations have refused to change their AA and continue to attack and taunt other alliances so in responce we have placed all of them on our perma ZI list and allowed full use of army, spys, and nukes.

The issue with spy ops that i have is that one of our nations recived the following from the moderation team.

Spy slot filling. - 10/27/2007

I am not here to appeal his ingame warn or complain about how it is "unjust" blah blah blah whine whine whine. The only reason i am making this post is to advise both the moderation staff and other players of CN that this issue does exist and we need to find a solution.

Thankyou for your time

A nation in my alliance (GPA) than I am handling the war for was given a warning for using a spy operation against a ghost as well.

Seems like spy attacks should be allowed against nations "in" the same alliance if the nations are at war.

but then that could allow abuse of both war and spy slot filling which wouldent really help because the actions would cover eachother.

If anyone here plays or has played truks (admins other game) inorder to join a company you need to be allowed by the lead person who can also fire you if he/she chooses. i belive that something of this sort being implemented into CN would be a good idea and could solve the problem of ghosts.

Edit. i see that the topic has been moved from the "Report a bug" section to the "moderation" section. sorry for posting in the wrong area

And of rogue leaders who have the power to determine membership?

possible solution.

You need X people to create an alliance. you need the approval of Y of the X origional creators to accept in a new member or to kick a member from the alliance. it provides a senate type vote on membership

They have war slot abuse covered, if you declare and don't attack at all you get busted. Between two nations where a war between them is clearly an actual fight, I don't see why allowing spy attacks is wrong.
