Currently, the Cyber Nations Award page shows things such as 7-day alliance and nation max/min growth. This is really cool information; however, this only shows the current 7-day period growth.
My suggestion is to also add historical data: e.g. things like the highest 7-day nation growth ever (or likely since the time that this is implemented anyway, since I assume this is not currently tracked).

works for me. I think it would be nice to have this type of historical data for every player. Let each player have stats like this for their nation, and then have the system just daily pick the ones that are top for the awards page.

I like it, so long as it's clear when the data (highest/lowest etc) was recorded from.

Yes, absolutely. I definitely had that in mind, but I forgot to explicitly mention that in the OP. This way, it's easy to say, the time I beat on this guy during such and such a war is still one of the top 5 beatdowns in history! Or to easily see that 4 out of 5 of the top alliance losses occured during a certain great war, for example.
Trivial stuff, but I think kinda cool data to see nonetheless...

I like this idea. Can we also add highest infra and highest tech in the awards page?

Another addition to this concept would be the highest strength an alliance has ever reached or something of that sort.

huh... I would also be excellent for a nation to record its highest ranking and when and their statistics during that time. Wouldn't force the veterans to check their nations constantly for their ranks

How about we just add every stat we can think of?
This takes up some system resources at update if I am not mistaken, and during wars (when many of these stats are set) we need those resources. There is already a pretty big statistical focus here on the forums and I doubt we really need these because you can find these stats if you know who to ask.
Of course, making them easy to access is nice. I'd say no if they prove at all taxing on the system, but otherwise I don't care.

I would assume that they, like any other taxing stat, can be disabled at update and other high traffic times.

i agree with locke high traffic = down
usual time up!

It can't be that much of a hassle to the system resources. Admin keeps adding more and more on his own. One example would be the new circle graph. If it does prove to be a hassle at war-time updates then a game admin can simply disable certain additions to the awards page.

The only time that is really an issue is at update and the few hours surrounding it. Updating the info midday is unlikely to cause that kind of overhead.

The lag dillema is 'fixable' by adding a one-hour delay to the global 'award daily update', which would account for 95% of everyday infra jumps.
Also, add a Award Page for Alliances. (I believe someone suggested this already)

People put too much stock in stats already and it leads to crying over lost ranks, less infrastructure, and so on, which is not a good thing. I'd say having historical targets to aim for is likely to make this worse so for this reason I do not really support this suggestion.

Also you can see each nations 30 day strength graph, but there should also be one for the entire length of a nation. That would be so cool and interesting.
