Solar Powered Heaters being supplied to all the houses

Following the increase in power consumption, the government sanctioned the funding of Solar Powered Heaters to all the registered houses free of cost to help cut down thermal power usage in the nation. Almost 13,000 houses exist in Osea and 6,000 power heaters have already been installed. This comes just before the yearly council elections in Osea.

The New council won due to the ineffectiveness of the last council. "Even though it was a temporary council, it was elected because it promised various plans for Osea. Out of the 9 plans they promised only 1 was carried out just 2 days before voting started. Our promises are not so high, it is rather easy and effective way to progress. For the time being we have decided to rename Osea to Socialist Republic of Osea. " - Said Angus Young.

Outgoing Council Member, Keira Knightley had this to say- " We have not the resources to fulfill our plans for the last time. Rest assured we will come back in the next elections and wish the new government luck."

Jordana Brewster has been selected to be Adviser to the Council for the coming term. The Oath taking ceremony will happen on May 21st.

Osea Wardogs a Failure

The Football team "Osea Wardogs" under coach Erwin Von Licheinstien had come back home with 2 defeats and 1 victory. He was fired immediately upon arrival and President of the board of Osean Football Association or OFA called the team an "epic failure" and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Coach Erwin will be sacked immediately and will lose their homes and pensions as per Article 6.6 in Osean Law. He hoped that the next tournament would not be such a set back.

Phoenix International Bank becomes the biggest bank in Osea

Today the Phoenix International Bank (PiB) has officially become Osea's biggest bank firm and is endorsed by the government over WDNB. (Whatever the full for is lol) PiB has 3 branches in Osea and 5 more are being built as we speak. The Major cities of Llulissat, Qasigiannguit and Uummannaq are the current open branches of the bank. "More are to come soon." said Deputy Councillor Julia Stevens.

Osea opens its first harbour facility

Earlier today, the capital of Ilulissat the government opened up a harbour facility for ships to dock and leave. The harbour is to be open only during the summer months as the ice in the winter will be very hard to break through. All ships except Comintern ships would be taxed for docking at the harbour said Phil Rudd.

Osea People's Army started

"Out of the 46,200 people living in Osea, 31,364 are between the age of 16-35. As such to improve the defenses of our country, all the 31,364 citizens shall be trained to handle guns and will be required to do at least two years of military service. " Said councillor Angus Young earlier. Rumours of an air force base being built are also coming out.

New Year in OSEA, best celebration so far.

As per the Osean calendar yesterday was celebrated as the new year. Many places there were drinking competitions and the government had a chance to mingle with the people they represent. All in all it was a good day.

PaintBall latest trend in Osea.

PaintBall as it is called in Osea is currently the latest hit. The game consists of two teams playing with gas operated markers (CO2 for safety) with pellets made from vegetable oil. The idea of the game is too shoot other team and capture their flag, just like a real military battle with oil pellets instead of real bullets. Rumours are going around saying the councilors are paintball addicts.

Illulissiat Racing Track has a grand opening

Earlier today the newley made Illulissiat Racing Track or else known as the hockenhiemring. The track would host a race in the upcoming Formula 1 season and also is the home track for the Wardog Racing.

The Osean League kicks off

Earlier today the O-League or the Osean Football(Soccer League) was innaugrated and totally 28 teams will be playing the O-League and the O-League II, the best 18 teams plays in O-League and O-League II has the next 10. The Top three of O-League II will be promoted to O-League and the bottom three from O-League will be relegated to O-League II.

Crowd favourites to win the first O-League are the Ocean's Eleven.

Osea tests out Nuclear Weapons

Earlier today Osea finally tested 3 Nuclear Weapons which was sucessful making Osea nuclear powered nation. "This is important for the future safety of Osea" - Said Phil Rudd. Rumours are that there are 14 of such weapons being kept in various areas of Osea.

Stock Market opens in Illulissiat

Earlier today, the stock market was opened at Illulissiat with an average opening. Mostly all of Osea is run by the government and most of the population is made to by some parts of the company. The Private companies are mostly the finance companies where only 41 % of the company can be owned by foreigners the rest by the government.

New Law passed- Nordic People's or Nordic Culture illegal in Osea

The Council passed a law today stating that Nordic people or Nordic Culture as a whole shall not exist in Osea as they feel it is a culture that believes it is greater then anything else and also that it destroyes the set Inuit culture in Osea. As of now all "nords" in Osea are free to move over to their Eastern Neighbour, Gronlandia or to the GNR as it is not correct to brainwash these existing peoples.

The government started the "Motherland Defense Measures" earlier this week, with the nuclear weapon tests. To continue with the defense measures, the government has increased military funding to 35% in the government budget and also has ordered the construction of "Defense Towers 1,2,3 and 4"

No one is destroying cultures here but you. The Nordic Peoples are not being oppressed in any way, and are free to leave Osea.

No, they are forced to leave Osea, a nation where they have established friends, families and businesses. To do such a thing in criminal, insensitive, and racist.

Yes, I'm afraid that I will agree with the Nordic Representative here. The Osean government is literally making a culture illegal, while there has been criticism against Nordland that the individual cultures have not been represented, which is unfortunate they have yet to make any knowledge known to make an entire culture illegal. This is a pathetic display of governance on the part of Osea and if this is any reflect of the ComIntern as a whole I will say that the world is extremely displeased. Racism is racism whether it is Osean, Nord, Finn, Chinese etc. To declare a culture illegal, whether the people are allowed to leave is morally wrong and I would say internationally illegal. National Research Lab built in Illulissiat

Yesterday the council inaugurated the national research lab in Osea, the labs facilities are supposed to be world class(Writing that because of my tech levels ) and a Large Hadron Collider is being constructed as we speak in a location that shall not be said at this point of time.

Borders in the north being fortified

With the new Eggman Empire being formed in the north, some politicians have been skeptical of the safety of Osea and as such the borders with the Eggman Empire are being fortified with no one allowed to enter or leave Osea through them. The councilors decided this was the best course of action until diplomatic level blue was reached between the two nations (Preferable nation).

Earlier this month, Osea was allowed to build a foreign military base in the city of Douala, and surrounding areas by Archon Mykep. The builders started work today and the base should be operational within 5-7 years.

Osea earlier this week expanded their territory south with the permission of Canada. Osea own most of the South-Western Coast of Greenland and the Anhui Province in China.

Anhui closed of to all foreign nations

Anhui has been closed to every nation and person that is not Osean. Reasons for this shall remain private but any foreign national attempting to enter Anhui will promplty be on the next flight back to their country.

Elections removed, Constitution changed, New Leader

Earlier today the constitution of Osea was changed with the Triumvirate system being removed and Osea shall be governed by the Supreme Leader who appoints his cabinet for however long he wishes. The supreme leader shall hold this position until life unless impeached by the people's court. The Supreme Leader of Osea was selected by the last Triumvirate, it was a surprise as this unknown masked man who calls himself Rorschach was selected. He was sworn in today, he is also the Supreme Commander of the Army.

IC: PRC infrastructure project on an all time high.

The PRC's famous 5 year infrastructure project to house and connect all areas of PRC is on the way and at an all time high with an increase of the speed of the project by almost 50%. The project is expected to get over faster then it was first planned to be.

NCC opened

The National Cadet Corps a new military wing was introduced by the Ministry of Defense. It is to instill military training/ discipline/ value of life and honour to young boys of the age 13-15 and 18-21. The boys shall be taught the basics of the military and how to live life and survive in every situation and it will be a stepping stone to the new Military Act which shall be announced soon enough.

Military Act 2009

As per the new act all men from the age of 21 must do 9 years of military service. All college going boys shall go through 3 years of training from the age of 18-21 and after that military service of 9 years in compulsory for all men and women. They shall follow military rules and would have to wear the uniform for at least 6 out 12 months in a year. This way every citizen will know how to fight and defend the country when it is needed. Those who wish to study higher shall have the opportunity at government universities in the barracks where they shall be allowed to study for 5 hours a day.

This was felt needed at this time for the PRC to combat terrorism and to keep the nation ready for defense.

Entertainment and Religion banned in the PRC

All forms of entertainment- be it movies,music and television is officially banned in the PRC along with religion. Entertainment is a waste of time for a citizen who could help his nation during those 1-2 hours in doing something more productive. The computer was allowed for only 2 hours a day and with government filters on at all times.

Complete control of Daqing

A total of 15,000 soldiers has just landed in the province of Daqing and has been brought under complete control of the PRC. It has taken a while but the government has brought Daqing province in as the third province in the People's Republic of China, after Anhui and Lower Shandong province.

Economy on a rise

Recent moves by the government has made the People's Republic of China's economy almost double from what it was when the nation was founded. Premier Rorschach feels the nation can be self-sufficient in a few years time. ( OOC: 1000 infra in 10 days )

Nuclear Tests done, PRC a nuclear power

PRC has completed its first set of nuclear weapon tests which were confirmed by the Defense ministry on the 12 of this month. The PRC will be testing 10 more of such weapons which leaves the total count at 11 such weapons.
