Before reading this, I can't stress the importance of reading the thread and understanding the context before voicing your opinion (Members, not moderation)

People sometimes make mistakes and thus are banned permanently and the game loses a dedicated member of Cyberverses' society - some even being well-respected. In a game which loses and gains members rapidly in both situations, I feel some people in this game may have truly learned their lesson after being permanently banned - they understand their childish actions lead them to where they are and countless individuals always say they regret their actions. Not only would this suggestion bring back membership, but it does provide another chance for formerly banned members to prove themselves their capability to remain obedient to the rules.

What I am suggestion is after x amount of days being banned, a member should be able to properly stand before the moderators and ask for another chance - because people, especially children, DO psychologically grow up. I know this may sound redundant and absurd, but I feel if a member is permanently banned for lets say a full year, they now understand the harshness of disobedience. Consider it like rehabilitation - like jail. Some members deserve to be banned forever like /b/ombing the forums or countless other situations, but I think it would be cool to have a tiall basis in each case for moderation to chose appropriately.

Many have seemed to agree with the idea and it could be beneficial in its own ways, I mean people do grow up and I trust moderation to be able to warn wisely, I also trust them to allow 'those guys who just couldn't resist flaming a little too much' another chance and one last chance to prove themselves.

I don't know, I am literally speaking out loud here...thoughts?

We already do this. Chief Savage Man is an example.
