John Corning has also reached a point in age where he was given the option of retiring from the Council of Ministers with an early buy-out and like the Defense Minister, Anthony Davis, has decided to accept. Mr. Corning says he plans to use his later years to travel the world and spend more time with his family, something he hasn't been able to do with so many years of loyalty being dedicated to the State. He wishes his friends in power the best and boards the nearest jet to a warm environment.
In the meantime, former emperor of the New Taiwanese Empire, Nebu II has taken up the position of Intelligence Minister inside of the Dragon Empire as well as Governor of his state. He is expected to begin duties next week where he will be sworn in with Vasili Markov.
