IC: Today Febuary 3rd 2009 is a historic day for Bohovia and Estovakia Imperium. They have signed a free trade agreement, as well as opened embassys in each other nation, this is a huge step to improving foreign relations. We will be showing a copy of the BEFTA (Bohovian Estovakia Free Trade Aggrement). It will be displayed below.

Bohovia-Estovakia Imperium Free Trade Agreement
(BEFTA)


The government of Bohovia, and the government of Estovakia Imperium, by signing this document resolve to:

STRENGTHEN the special bonds of friendship and cooperation among their nations;

CONTRIBUTE to the harmonious development and expansion of world trade and provide a catalyst to broader international cooperation;

REDUCE troubles in trade

INSURE all products are safe, and tested for bacteria, upon entering either nation

ENHANCE the competitiveness of their firms in global markets

MUST give at least a 72 hour notice before cancelling the agreement

MUST NOT send any explosives trough the 2 boarders, unless authorized by the recieving nation

The Republic of Rebel Virginia does not understand the point of this treaty. Neither of these states produce any vital world resources, nor do they even neighbor each other. You aren't even in the same hemisphere. Overall we see this as a rather pointless treaty.

The main reason for this treaty is for Bohovia and Estovakia Imperium to build embassys, but with the free trade it will make trading beetwee us more easier and less expensive.

Embassies do not require treaties, and I doubt it would be so much cheaper as both nations still have to pay taxes to nations between them.
