Feb 2 2009, 04:44 PM
These building materials... seem interesting. What style of architecture is this? and are the tiles hand crafted?
freakwars
Feb 2 2009, 04:48 PM
It is the style of the ancient Andonain. I'm not sure what their style would be called. The tiles are handcrafted, yes.
comrade nikonov
Feb 2 2009, 04:48 PM
and the landscaping...seems rather dravonian. also: what is the population of this city?

Feb 2 2009, 04:50 PM
Around a 1,000. The second picture is one of the ancient holy sites, not the city itself. The first picture is the city.

Feb 2 2009, 04:53 PM
Is there any kind of public transportation available to your citizens? Do they ride magic dragons? or do they walk?
freakwars
Feb 2 2009, 04:54 PM
They walk
comrade nikonov
Feb 2 2009, 04:56 PM
That is so sad. Is this the only city? Are there side walks? Is internet available? Is there an airport connecting the city to the outside world? Are there any other cities in Andonia?
OOC: did what?

OOC: Is that a picture of Rivendell? It's a nice one regardless.

IC: Not everyone wants to compete in the rat race of ever-expanding technology. Some people enjoy a simpler, slower way of life. We have many places like that in northern Corsica, but not many that are quite so nice. We congratulate Andonia on their successful transition to living on land for a change.

It is the only city in Andonia, There is internet available to citizens who have the ability to buy the technology from other nations. They don't need sidewalks, as all vehicles must be left outside the city. There is an airport far enough away that the noise of planes do not disturb the city.

It is powered by geothermal energy. It was designed for beauty.

Geothermal Energy... in Scandinavia? Where are the harvesting plants? Also, where does your city receive agricultural goods from? It is quite a beautiful city.

We assure the leaders of Dranagg that our chief engineer is not a robot. Uhh..we're pretty sure, I think.
Also: to Andonia:
Is there military or police forces to protect its citizens? Does this city of 1000 have the capacity to support a government?
freakwars
Feb 2 2009, 05:29 PM
I can't have any military, so all my citizens are armed. And yes we have the capacity to support a government. We have very low crime rates.

Dranagg worries that this engineer is attempting to steal the idenity of the nation of Andoria. He could also possibly be a convert of Ebenzer Pikerton or Elijah Anderson.

The Government of Boomtown notes that the Andonians appear to be making a genuine attempt to turn a new leaf. Once our current issues in Diberia is resolved the Andonians can expect a visit from one of our commanders in Diberia to visit the city and pay our respects. We to appreciate the efforts made for a simpler way of life and watch your efforts somewhat enviously.

Before you go, does your city adequately provide for the physiological health of your citizens? Does the leader live in the city? Is the city just one large structure? What would you react if someone flew a plane into your city? Does your city have bomb shelters? Does your city have a religious congregation center?!?
freakwars
Feb 2 2009, 08:53 PM
What exactly do you mean by physiological health?
The Oberjarl does live in the city, yes. It is not one big structure. If the plane caused no damage, we would point them towards the airport, or if they crashed we would assist them. We do not have bomb shelters. There are a few small temples, but most religious ceremonies are performed either in the home, or at one of the holy sites.
