The Porvoo Pact
This Pact signed in Porvoo, Hanseatic Republic upon the construction of embassies between Estovakia and the Hanseatic Republic offers peace and friendship as well and economic strength in this age of uncertainty
I. Recognition of the Sovereignty
Each of the undersigned signatories hereby acknowledges the sovereignty of each of the other signatories and pledges that they will respect that sovereignty. Each of the signatories will respect the territorial integrity of the other signatories, and will not attempt to infringe upon that integrity by any action (direct or indirect) which aims to result in the annexation of the territory of a sovereign signatory
II. Non aggression clause
Each of the undersigned nations pledges not to undertake any hostile action against the other signatories while this treaty is in effect. Any act of aggression by one of the undersigned signatories against another signatory will void this treaty.
III. Free Trade and Open Borders
The undersigned signatories agree to, as much as possible, open borders and markets amongst each other to allow for the free flow of goods and information so long as it is in no way detrimental to the security or ecenomy of the signatories.
IV. Disputes clause
Each undersigned signatory agrees to attempt to resolve any situation with another signatory via diplomatic negotiations, or mediation by a third party before any military solution is sought,
V. Cancellation clause
Should any signatory wish to cancel this treaty they must notify all other signatories at least 48 hours before the cancellation will be official.
