State of the Alliance
First of all, I'll use this address to inform friends and allies of the Siberian Tiger Alliance of my return to duties as Supreme Chancellor after a short break. OK, even enemies of the STA may be informed. Thanks to Uhtred for holding the fort during the past 10 days.
Now back to normal programming.
This week the Siberian Tiger Alliance is hovering around the 130 member mark yet again. We have managed to get rid of a few ghosts but a few still linger. Our total strength is approaching 1.8 million and we hope to pass the 2 million total nation strength mark in the coming weeks. Our average strength has also passed 13,000.
In domestic news, Season 8 of the Siberian Trophy comes to a close today. Batch has secured the Trophy once again and Daverice's Fat Plumbers secured the Cup Division title with KevinKeegan's Cidduh Blues claiming the second promotion place meaning both teams return to the top flight a season after being relegated. The next season will commence in a two weeks with 17 teams competing.
Over the next month the Siberian Tiger Alliance leadership group will be working to implement a number of new initiatives to make the alliance more efficient and to provide more for our members. A few of these initiatives have been on the table for a while and I believe it is time to make them a reality.
A recent influx of new members from non-white team alliances has raised some questions about the STA's policy on the team our members can reside on. Our charter is clear that we prefer white folks but will accept a few coloured folk now and then.
This week also saw the Siberian Tiger Alliance re-sign our Mutual Defence treaty with League of Extraordinary nations and also sign a new Mutual Defence Pact with Nueva Vida, an alliance we look forward to forging closer ties with.
In military news the Siberian Tiger Alliance continues to rebuild her military after the peace terms from the recent war were lifted. As an alliance, we look forward to reaching the strength we held pre-war and then growing beyond that in the coming months.
The Siberian Tiger Alliance has also decided to move militarily on ghost nations that ignore our invitation to join the alliance formally or reject the invitation. While ghosts cause us no harm for the most part any stupidity they undertake means the Siberian Tiger Alliance has to take the time to clarify the ghost status with other alliances. It is not difficult to register at STA HQ and apply to join the alliance so we believe that nations wanting to carry our alliance affiliation should join properly or remove our name from their nation.
Overall, the past week has again seen the alliance consolidate its numbers and become stronger. Militarily we have grown rapidly and we look forward to again passing the 2 million nation strength milestone in the coming weeks.
Za Sibir'!
