I have a dream, not only to become the foremost space-faring nation, but also to make space accessible to all the peoples of the world. That dream may be a long way off, but I have every intention of bringing it to life. For the moment however, I pledge to bring citizens of Naboo into orbit, perhaps even to the moon. All this and more is within our capability, other great nations, such as the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of Greater Saboria have done so some time ago!

Citizens of the empire went crazy with the news, for too long had we let this important area be neglected and the prospect of eventual space tourism was something many felt to be very cool.
Citizens working within the Naboo Aeronautics4, the subsidiary which has traditionally dealt with all things of this nature were particularly interested. It was likely that the entire astronautics subsection would be made an independent body, dedicated to rocketing the empire into space. Naboo Aeronautics had quite some experience with unmanned space travel, with the first satellites being placed into space many decades ago, a vast, highly advanced ICBM fleet and several space probes under their belt but manned flight was on a whole new level and would present the organisation with a whole series of new challenges.

- The Empire's year starts in February. This is due in part to its economic based cycles historically and its widely mutli-ethnic population.
- The Omniscient Calender starts at the creation of the company, some hundred years ago or so. P.F. stands for "Post Foundation" whereas dates before this use B.F. "Before Foundation"
