To the GGA, NPO, et al:
The time for long speeches is in the past, so I shall keep this brief.
I am tired, my bones ache, and my body is weary. My clothes are largely rags...my boots hang in tatters off my feet. My sword has lain on the ground for some time, despite what many seem to believe about me. I am not your hero, I am not a figurehead...I am a tired soldier. My differences with the GGA have been over and done with for many months, the same for the NPO. I never wished to be an opposition, and I surely do not wish to be one now. I made a mistake recently, one which I hoped would be rectified by leaving quickly and being the first to leave. Hopefully those who can shall have mercy on me for it. I began my leave of absence from this place nearly a month ago and I do not plan to come back anytime soon. While I am not leaving the planet, communications from me will largely be non-existent in these public halls.
To those who believe these to be false words, I implore you, ask around. Ask any of my comrades. I only wish to make peace and help my friends pay back their reparations to the NPO.
