Lord of The Isles
From its ancestral home of Finlaggan Castle on the Isle of Islay, the Clan Donald has risen once more. Its leader, Aonghas 'Mor' MacDomhnall (Anglicized: Angus 'The Elder' MacDonald) has proclaimed himself Lord of the Isles and declared his intent to reclaim the former lands of the Clan Donald, which at one time spread throughout the Hebrides and contained part of the west coast of Scotland.

Currently the Clan is forging ahead with its campaign and has so far managed to claim the Sound of Islay, which has a minor trade route running through it. This has allowed the fledgling country to gain much needed income through trade (though more is still required), this income has been put to use in raising a moderately well trained standing army of fierce Hebridean warriors.

The Clan has claimed the towns of Port Askaig, Bunnahabhain, Cabrach, Bridgend and Kilnave to name but a few, and the boundaries of the land continue to expand daily as the army is currently camped outside of Camduncan in the west of Islay, Keils in the east and Bowmore in the south. At the current rate of expansion it will not be lond before Islay once again belongs to its rightful owners, Aonghas MacDomhnall, Lord of The Isles and the Clan Donald.

Whilst expansion has been a main criteria of Aonghas' reign so far, the Lord has also looked to improve the infrastructure of the reclaimed land and this project has been running smoothly with a good road system already being put in place. The Clan is lacking in technological know-how but is looking for other countries with which to conduct industrial business (Tech Deals) to help fund the army, the ongoing infrastructural improvements and get their first steps on the technological ladder.

In the meantime, Clan Donald has joined an alliance of Scottish factions (Scotland Forever) to help keep its borders safe from unwanted raiders and invading armies. The Clan is looking forward to a fruitful relationship with Scotland Forever.

The Clan will achieve its goal no matter the cost, the Isles are ours and ours alone, resistance is futile!

Per Mare Per Terras! (By sea and by land!)

Aonghas Mor of Clan Donald, Lord of The Isles.
Lord of The Isles
Clan Donald suffered the first major event of its existence today with a minor peasant revolt over the state of one particular road within the land, this prompted Aonghas Mor to pull the armies back from their frontiers (which caused a loss of about 10% in land area) in case of widespread revolting, which luckily did not occur. The road has been brought up to standard and the peasants appeased, such is the generosity of Aonghas' rule.

The armies were consequently sent back to the front, where they pushed forth with renewed vigour and have consequently taken control of the town of Camduncan in the west of Islay where they now stand on the shores of Loch Gorm. In the east the army has pushed through Keils and has moved as far east as Leargybreck, meanwhile, the southern campaign edges cloer towards the town of Gartbreck.

Even a minor revolt cannot stop the inevitable. Per Mare Per Terras!

Aonghas Mor, Leader of the Clan Donald and Lord of The Isles.
