Molakia: Our Story. Bite Sized.

Dark Days and nights. One expects that in the Artic. The People of Molakia came from a land deep within Siberia. They did not have much in terms of resources, but they had the survial skills, the determination, to do anything. So when a rally call came to rebel, the Molakian's did it with a fervor not seen in russia since the bolshevik revolutions of 1918. With that fervor, came a price.

The Russian Empire Cracked down hard on these people, and exiled them to the New Siberian Islands: A Cold, hellish place where not much laid there besides cold and rock. But the Molakians prevailed, and started to build anew in this land. But the rebel fervor never left them, and soon after they wanted more Autonomy. The Russians and their allies wanted this not to happen, and invaed the Isle, forcing the Molakians to the seas.

The Molakians pleaded with various nations to give them land, but in the end none responded. So the Molakians made a desperate gamble: Make a run for the Aleutian Islands, known to be empty but also very far away. If they ran into a storm or Crimea Navy patrols, they would surely be attacked or killed.

Not long after founding, the European Wars came about. Kaiser Martens and his allies vs the World. Offically, Molakia was neutral. But a small band of Molakians went to Nordland to fight for Martens. They were never heard from again...until now.

With the Terror attacks on Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm, Commander Romanov and General Frolov of the Molakian Armed Forces Nordland Battalion knew they had to help the people they lead to war. After cleaning house, the General of Neo Franz. offered the Molakians land. Which Brings us to now....What is molakia to do? Build for war and hope our neighboors do not invade? Or become a bastion of peace, spreading Freedom via our words and culture. Who knows. But we all realize one thing: Molakia will rise!

Molakia: Irish eyes smile here!

Soon after Molakia was established, a group of Irishmen from (Duh) Ireland arrived on the shores near New Russia, the capital. They requested political asylum, as they too fought for their right to exist seperatly. While the offical reasons* for their exodus remains a state secret, whatever the reason Molakia accepted these men and women into molakia, where they established New Dublin, a semi Autonomous city within Molakia.

After awhile, the irish population wished to have its own land, and under the blessings of the Molakian Goverment, they established the Eire Independant Republic (soon to be called New Ireland for political issues.). With a strong showing in molakia (20% of the pop), The Irish Eyes of Molakia are a powerful people, as their culture (and beer, Guiness) has influenced the politics of Molakia and her president, Comrade.

I think that his map is NOT claimed by either myself or the Russian Empire. He can claim it. Unless the Russian Empire objects, I recognize his claim OF THE ISLANDS!

As for the peninsula, that is claimed by the Russian Empire (or myself, I'm too lazy to look) but either way it is taken.

I'm sorry, after reviewing my sources (the World Map) I DO NOT RECOGNIZE YOUR LAND CLAIM! It is claimed ENTIRELY by the Russian Empire.

The People of Molakia Formally relaunch this Database to reflect our new home and additional history.

As Molakia no longer exist, this thread is requested to be locked and/or deleted at the leisure of the RP Community.

If Molakia is to return, a new nation submission will be given at a later time.

If you want your nation back, you can work with the R.U.S.S.I.A.N. Pact members. OR you could even claim somewhere else (Svalbard maybe?) or you could "borrow" some of my land.
