Current Situation: All players view the same page, and except for a small icon nothing indicates the team you play for.

and so on. This can be done via a change of the background color value directly in the source code, so no traffic would be increased for the transmitting of any pictures or anything. Very easy stuff.

MY once concern would be I think if you were on the yellow team it could get really hard on the eyes. Perhaps it would be an option to keep it the traditional way it is now, or switch it to your team color?

The pink you have there is pretty purpily. Perhaps make the purple darker to increase contrast between the two. Also, I thought aqua was more greenish than the blue color you have above.

That's because it is technically a purple. Equal parts blue and red. You could shoot for FF00C0 if you wanted.

I gave a blue for the aqua because the color that Admin put in the game is a Cyan. I felt like being consistant.

well, besides for the color technicals, I just think it adds more identifying with a nations team sphere to the game, you see this in lots of other games where the users have some kind of HUD-Interface (Unreal Tournament or Quake or whatever), often its transparent with the shade of the persons team. Kinda cool. Maybe add an option in the "my profile" section where a user can disable team skinning if he has visual problems or it bothers him for some reason.

Yep, I fully agree with this idea And disabling skinning is necessary, but I think most players will enjoy this change.

I like the idea except the blue skin probably doesn't need to be changed as the current form is already blue

In RGB, Blue as in is #0000FF, the current blue is more of #00007E.(I'm just guessing here) Essentially, that's just 50% darker, but it probably could be brightened for a more of a blue feel than the neutral is currently presents.

In a second guess, I'm thinking the blue we have #000080. I don't want Admin saying I was one or two off.

Wonderful Suggestion. White could just be a super duper light shade of gray (the font would still be black), a lighter shade than "no team," but visible on the page. Also an outline for the lighter colors would be nice so they don't run up against the white background. Otherwise, love it.

This is a great idea!! I would definitely use the orange skin. Although, I agree it should be optional as others have stated.

Ooooh- I wonder if it would be neat to make the font color of the titles of the sections be the complement of the color of the skin, thus the titles of the sections for an orange skin would be blue, the titles of the sections for a cyan (aqua) skin would be red, etc. The way you do that is take the R, G, and B values and subtract them from 255 to get the new R, G, and B. Thus black (someone suggested earlier it be 444444) becomes a very light grey at BBBBBB, and aqua (3399CC) becomes CC6633, a red color. I think it would be nifty, and it would ensure the readability of the text (as long as the grey shades are not too close to 808080 or 7F7F7F). Also, I still think black outlines for the lighter colors would be nice...

I really do like this idea. It's aesthetically pleasing (obviously except for yellow) and if nothing else, will at least feature your color choice in a bolder way than the little square.

This is a really cool idea, now you can have you favorite color to brighten up the game, or atleat the color of your choice.

I think you should be able to choose whatever colour you want without having to have your team colour. That way, you could have your favorite colour of the week as your colour. I like red, but that might not be the case if I'm hungover or my eyes are hurting.

Also, BG colour changing would be cool!

As said before, this would be a good suggestion if it wasn't about team, but about personal preference. Period.

I only hope this suggestion doesn't make people change team color just to see a more pleasing color in-game. I would feel bad for teams who's color skin is unsatisfactory and would therefore go to a different color to correct this. (if the option to disable is there, you could, but some would opt to switch color.) I just want to make sure a specific team wouldn't get killed by this.

Perhaps rather than being a Team Colour selection the skin choice could simply be an option in the Edit My Profile section.
