First, a brief description of each level of forum administration and moderation--this should be used as a "who to contact for what list," and there is a chain of command that needs to be followed. Always contact a moderator specializing in a certain forum area and/or a Global Mod or general Admin before going to a member of the Senior Staff. Due to the high volume of PMs they receive, Sword of Estel and admin should only be contacted for serious matters regarding their individual areas of expertise. If you fail to utilize the chain of command properly and/or don't submit your request in the proper format (pinned in the applicable Moderation forum) then it's unlikely you'll receive a reply.

Gameplay Moderator

This team is primarily responsible for moderating the following forums: About Cyber Nations, Gameplay Discussions, Suggestion Box, & the Question Center. If you have questions regarding these OOC areas or specialities please contact someone with the above icon under their name for assistance.
Role Play Moderator
answers to: Role Play Team Leader
This team is primarily responsible for moderating these forums: Open World Forum & The Water Cooler. If you have questions regarding the RP areas or the OOC forums that fall under this category please contact someone with the above icon under their name for assistance.
Global Moderator
answers to: Senior Moderators
This team is responsible for enforcing the forum rules and members have moderation abilities for the entire forum. If you have questions regarding the any areas of the forum you may also contact someone with the above icon under their name for assistance.
Senior Moderator

Senior Moderators have achieved longevity and honor on the team and serve as leaders in their specified areas of expertise. This team is responsible for enforcing the forum rules and members have moderation abilities for the entire forum. If you have questions regarding the any areas of the forum you may also contact someone with the above icon under their name for assistance, though you should go to the specialized positions and/or Global Mods first whenever possible.
Gameplay Team Leader & Role Play Team Leader
answers to: Senior Staff Gameplay Expert & Senior Staff Role Play Expert
The Gameplay Team Leader & Role Play Team Leader serve as the managers/supervisors of the rest of the mod staff and assists the Senior Staff as requested. These leaders are in charge of assigning forum projects, so if you notice any outdated threads or information on the forum please contact the applicable Team Leader directly. You should go to a member of the Team Leaders' staffs with questions regarding rules/violation reports/etc for their assigned forums before approaching the Team Leaders.
Visual Team Leader
answers to: Senior Staff Role Play Expert
The Head of Visual Moderation is the "go-to" person for all signature, profile pic/descriptions, and avatar questions and projects. This position answers directly to the Lead Forum Admins. If you have any questions regarding the appropriateness of avatars and profile pics, size restrictions on signatures, etc, please contact the Head of Visual Moderation directly.
Admin Team
answers to: Team Leaders & Senior Staff Forum Expert
This team is primarily responsible for forum upkeep and enforcing the decisions of the Senior Staff or Game Mods in regards to bannings here on the forum. All administrators are also Global Mods and have moderation abilities for the entire forum. Administrators are also in charge of handling reports of forum names not matching in-game ruler or nation names. Most reports of that nature should go in the Forum Abuse forum, but if privacy is desired especially regarding ban evasions you are welcome to PM an administrator directly. If you have general questions regarding the any areas of the forum you may contact someone with the above icon under their name for assistance, though you should always go to the specialized positions and/or Global Mods first.
Game Mods
answers to: Senior Staff Game Admin
This team handles the in-game situations that arise daily with questionable Foreign Aid transactions, multiple nations on the same IP address, questionable content, etc. Please contact a member with the above icon underneath their name if you have questions or concerns with in-game actions. Make sure you read the rules thoroughly before contacting a Game Mod.

Head Honchos
admin - high level technical suggestions & questions, bug reports, exploit reports, security concerns, donation issues.
Sword of Estel - mods & admins (comments, concerns, bias claims, etc), oversees all staff, confidential re-rolls and/or final appeals, final call on policy issues, etc.
Senior Staff Game Admin
emphasis on in-game moderation, training new game mods, answering questions about in-game issues, helping to oversee the game mod team by making sure the game mods are active and the game abuse forum complaints dealt with in a timely manner, and serves as the final pre-SoE/admin authority for in-game-related matters. Answers only to Sword of Estel and/or admin.
Senior Staff Community Organizer
concentration on the behemoth that is the Water Cooler and other OOC social areas of the forum with emphasis on maintaining order & remaining the point person for all things rules-related in these particular areas; emphasis on forum moderation, answering standard questions about the rules, training new forum mods, helping to oversee the forum mod team by making sure the mods are active and the forum abuse forum complaints dealt with in a timely manner, monitoring the moderation second opinions thread giving input as necessary, and making sure moderation rules are being enforced correctly, particularly in OOC social areas. Answers only to Sword of Estel and/or admin.
Senior Staff OOC Moderation Expert
emphasis on forum moderation of an OOC nature, answering questions about the rules for OOC areas, training new forum mods, helping to oversee the forum mod team by making sure the mods are active and the forum abuse forum complaints dealt with in a timely manner, monitoring the moderation second opinions thread giving input as necessary, making sure OOC moderation rules are being enforced correctly, and serves as the final pre-SoE authority for OOC-related matters including attacks, advice, etc. Answers only to Sword of Estel and/or admin.
Senior Staff Debate Admin
specializes in Boiler Room moderation and disputes, point person for all questions related to this forum, and serves as the final pre-SoE authority for debate-related matters. Also has an emphasis on forum administration tasks such as banning accounts associated with accounts banned in-game or not associated with an in-game nation or ruler name, making sure forum admin-specific requests in the forum abuse forum are handled in a timely manner, answering standard questions about the rules, assistance with training new forum mods, helping to oversee the forum admin team by making sure the staff is active and using their admin powers to help out, monitoring the moderation second opinions thread giving input as necessary, and making sure administrative rules are being enforced correctly. Answers only to Sword of Estel and/or admin.
Senior Staff Policy Moderation Expert
start, participate in, and facilitate policy discussions both privately with the mod team and publicly in the Moderation forum, point person for all questions involving interpretation of forum and game policy; emphasis on forum moderation, answering standard questions about the rules, training new forum mods, helping to oversee the forum mod team by making sure the mods are active and the forum abuse forum complaints dealt with in a timely manner, and monitoring the moderation second opinions thread giving input as necessary, and making sure moderation rules are being enforced correctly. Answers only to Sword of Estel and/or admin.
Senior Staff Forum Expert
expert in all things forum administration, start & facilitate discussion related to forum re-structuring should the need arise, take the lead in training new forum admins, point person for any forum administration-related questions, help make sure admin requests (name changes, banning accounts, etc) are taken care of in a timely manner, search for forum improvements and implement changes as necessary, etc, and serves as the final pre-SoE/admin authority for all technical forum-related matters. Answers only to Sword of Estel and/or admin.
Senior Staff Gameplay Expert
main person overseeing the Gameplay Team and/or advising the moderator head of the team, assisting with training new staff on this team and when specialized mods become global mods, leading & facilitating discussions on Gameplay policy and implementing changes and updates to Suggestion Box, Question Center, and other areas as necessary, etc. Answers only to Sword of Estel and/or admin.
Senior Staff Role Play Expert
main person overseeing the Role Play Team and/or advising the Role Play Team Leader, assisting with training new staff on this team and when specialized mods become global mods, leading & facilitating discussions on RP policy and implementing changes and updates as necessary, etc. Answers only to Sword of Estel and/or admin.
