These attacks will continue for some time until victory and peace is achieved. This conflict started on January 26th, 2011 when The Legion declared war on GOONS—a loyal ally of =LOST=. Tonight, =LOST= defends its ally and calls upon the rest of the Complaints and Grievances Union to assist us. Tonight, the battle has been joined. This military action takes into accord Complaints and Grievances’ mutual aggression and defense protocol and progresses with the consent of the respective governments of our Union. Now the five alliances with forces descending upon the Legion have no choice but to drive The Legion from the dominion of the GOONS by force. We will not fail. Our objective is clear: Legion’s forces will leave GOONS’ territory. Legion will eventually comply with all relevant surrender terms, and then, when peace is restored, it is our hope that Legion will live as a peaceful and cooperative member of the family of alliances, thus enhancing the security and stability of our planet. Some may ask: Why act now? Why not wait? The answer is clear: Defending an ally must take precedence. While the world waited, Legion, with the aid of many others, systematically pillaged and plundered a smaller alliance. Legion has subjected the nations and people of GOONS to unspeakable atrocities—and among those maimed and murdered, innocent lovable trolls. While the world waited, while the world talked brutal war and non-intervention, Legion dug in and moved a percentage of its massive forces into GOONS’ terrain. And while the world waited, while we were entangled with other commitments, more damage was being done to the fragile economies and populations of lower tier nations than to their upper tier overseers. =LOST=, together with its Complaints and Grievances brethren, will now exhaust every means at our disposal to bring this crisis, through war, to a peaceful end. While the world prayed for war, CnG prepared to war victoriously. The alliances of the Complaints and Grievances Union: The League of Shadows Treaty, The Orange Defense Network, Athens, The International, and The Greenland Republic do hereby reaffirm the commitment to the charter that envisions us as the most unified entity in the history of our planet. CnG rides together to war as one integrated unit and the ideal that Friends are Greater Than Infrastructure shall once again guide us through this tumult. The Complaints and Grievances Union hereby declares war on the Legion. Tonight, as our forces fight, our troops and our friends are in our prayers.
