I added Battle Taunts to the ground attack screen today. It was just something that I thought would add a little extra flavor to wars. Right now the default Battle Taunts are some that I pulled off the top of my head:

Yes, there is a 'Specify Other' option at the bottom of the drop down list just like when you are specifying your nation alliance in your nation edit screen.Are we allowed to type in our own battle taunts instead of selecting a default taunt?

Can you be more specific? I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for and where to put it.
Spoiler tags on forums hide the information and you have to click the tags to put the dropdown there.

So if you added them in-game on the war dec screen, and just put something like a '+' button or arrow for people to click on and reveal the comments made in that war, it would be kinda neat.
If nothing is being said, nothing appears. Otherwise, a spoiler tag of sorts is there that provides the last 5-10 Battle Taunts between the nations at war. Could even make it a profile setting for how many appear when you drop the spoiler tag.
A little more clear perhaps?
