Infra

The problem with infrastructure is that it eventually becomes unprofitable to keep buying more. With more and more nations getting bigger and bigger, they have no reason to buy more. Why not make buying infra profitable? Allow there to be a bigger gain by purchasing more infra, or reduction in price once a nation hits the 9k infra mark?

Well.... there is a benefit. Its not monetary, but militarily. Say you are sitting at 10k infra and get nuked for 20 days straight. Thats 3000 infra... no big deal. You are still at 7k infra and making the same.
Plus it gives you ground stength in tanks and soldiers.

true that, also we will surely see some kind of additional concept in CN, like tech-improvements or research. there have been talks about such stuff before and at some point we will see it implemented. then nations had another purpose for spending money, not just "more infra", and maybe some of these new additions reduce infraupkeep or interact with infrastructure in other ways.
as long as only a handfull of nations are close to that "barrier", i dont think there is an emergency need for "doing something about it".

Every addition that allows for an increase in population, happiness or income raises the infra barrier a little bit. Of course, the simplest thing to do would be to end the bill increase after a certain point. Infra may not make you much money at higher levels, but if the amount that each additional point of infra adds to your bills remains constant, it will never make you lose money.
