Another Imperial Announcement

Evening all, quick announcement


Following Article 4 of the Bern-Elrich Accords
[quote]The undersigned alliances reserve the right to cancel this love affair at any time. Should either Bernkastel or Elrich von Richt leave their present alliance, this love affair shall be immediately suspended until such time as their membership in said alliance is restored. [/quote]

The Imperial Order hearby cancels the treaty (which was suspended anyway).

Reasoning, Bern's no longer in TIO, Elrich's no longer in SOS. There's not much chance of this treaty being re activated. Safe to say, this treaty is dead.

Considering that the treaty wasn't meant to be serious in the first place, that cancellation clause is appropriate.

Well, if you consider the background between TIO and SOS, the treaty was rather humorous and somewhat... odd. Go read the announcement, you'll see what I mean.

Basically, we signed it for amusement, and the fact it can actually be used as per normal, as it had oAD clauses in it. Last I checked though, treaties can be whatever the hell you want it to be. It did the job, and that's all we needed.

Meh, it's their alliance. Let them conduct foreign affairs how they see fit. They don't tell you how to treaty people so who are you to tell them?

Actually, I never said this announcement wasn't worth the 10 seconds of skimming over it and reading the summary. I'm just stating a treaty that "wasn't meant to be serious in the first place" is a waste of my time. Actually, it's a waste of all of our times.
