Well, that's what CSN and GO were like for a while there, but there always comes a time when you have to take that extra step just to show how much you think of each other. Now, here we are, standing side-by-side in a room full of people. We're ready to make it official. Thus, I am pleased to announce that CSN and GO hereby enter into the following Optional Defence Pact! Communications[/b] The Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations and the Guru Order have expressed a friendship between one another. They will enter into friendly and open communications throughout the course of this treaty to build upon said friendship. This includes the sharing of intelligence which may prove useful to the other signatory. [b]Article II. Sovereignty[/b] The Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations and the Guru Order recognise the sovereignty of each alliance as a separate entity. [b]Article III. Non-Aggression[/b] While this treaty is in effect, each signatory shall both refrain from engaging in any hostilities towards the other. This includes, but is not limited to: declaring war on a member nation of the other signatory and/or committing spy attacks against the other signatory. [b]Article IV. Aid[/b] At any time that is needed, either party may ask for financial or defensive military assistance of the other signatory. The other party is encouraged, but not obligated, to provide assistance to the other signatory. [b]Article V. Upgrade[/b] After 30 days this treaty is automatically void. Both signatories agree to convene with one another before this point to decide upon the permanency of this treaty through an upgrade or its expiration. [b]Article VI. Cancellation[/b] Either signatory may cancel this treaty at any time by notifying the other and adhering to a cancellation period of 72 hours.
