So after Zeke beat me lots, here it is: [quote] [center] [b][size="4"]The "Masterfod is a lazy $@! so this is a month late" Treaty[/size][/b] Preamble: This treaty is signed and agreed upon in good faith, as a gesture of the hope for future friendship, and cooperation. Article I: Sovereignty: In the signing of this treaty both Alliances will remain Independent, and retain their Sovereignty. Article II: Non-Aggression - No member of either alliance shall participate in war, or provocation of the other alliance. - No member of either signatory will aid, or give information to a known enemy of either alliance, whether it be a single nation, or a whole alliance. - No member of these alliances shall ever spy on the other alliance through the forums, or through in game features. - Such reparations, as well as any subsequent punishment for the infringing nation shall be discussed and agreed upon by the leaders of both alliances, with the ultimate aim to restore harmony between the two groups. Article III: Mutual Defense: Should either signatory be attacked by an outside nation and/or alliance, the other signed alliance is obligated to defend the signatory to defeat its aggressor using any force necessary including but not limited to military involvement . It is also agreed that this document does not override other higher level treaties held by either signatory. Article IV: Optional Aggression: Should either signatory declare war upon another alliance the other signatory has the option to declare with the other. However, it is not obligated to declare with the other. Article V: Intelligence: Both signatories agree to inform each other of potential large scale-wars in which one signatory may be involved. Both signatories also agree to inform one another if intelligence that pertains to the other party, including war, espionage, and/or threats. Article VI: Aid: The signatories of this treaty agree aid is central to the growth of new and developing nations. Both recognize the need for each to have control over their domestic affairs and as such Inter-alliance Aid shall be given only if both signatories agree. The primary source of aid for new and developing nations shall be from their own alliance. Demands for aid, from individual nations will be ignored and reported to both alliance leaders. Article VII: Non-Chaining: Should either signatory become involved in a war by an existing Defense or Aggression treaty, the other is not obligated to defend the other signatory. However, this does not prohibit the defense of said signatory. Article VIII: Cancellation: This Mutual Defense and Optional Aggression Pact will be void should any of the above clauses are not followed correctly. Additionally it may be canceled upon the request of either signatory, given 72 hours notice in private and a formal announcement on the CN forums.
