[Van Hoo III]

Several days ago Ragnarok signed a PIAT with an Optional Defense clause with Sons of Muspel. We felt the people we had gotten to know where solid individuals and that we would have a lasting friendship. However, after Sons of Muspel came to us regarding the recent events going on in CyberNations we decided to investigate the matter further. After collecting all the evidence and data, we weighed our options and have decided it was in our best interest to cancel our treaty with Sons of Muspel and gave them the required 72 hour notice.

While we feel that Sons of Muspel does have some very good people among them, we do not agree with or condone some of their recent decisions. I fear that we have erred in aligning with them and do not feel we are like minded alliances after all.

paying attention to recent events would show prominent members of SoM in #Rapecity taking part in very distasteful conversation given the current political climate this shows both poor taste and judgment by SoM and it could be seen as a necessary decision for Ragnarök to distance themselves from this.

Most people in CN have no clue what's been going on. Heck, I don't know all of it, but I know a lot more than most people claiming it is necessary.

But back to what I said, maybe once these issues have resolved themselves you may continue your friendship.
