Norden Verein Announcement

Good people of Cybernations,

This thread is here to announce the resignation of Kaiser Martens from the position of Kaiser as Norden Verein and from the alliance altogether. He has resigned for certain remarks that he made, multiple times, that could very easily be interpreted as being of having a racist nature. As Kaiser and supreme leader of the Verein, these remarks have caused much trouble for Nordland and our allies, and as such he has made the decision to remove himself from the Norden Verein affiliation and any protection that comes with it.

The new Kaiser of the Verein is myself. My replacement for Volksfuhrer (Triumvirate) will be Schills.

In addition, to address the concerns of many of the community, the Verein will be enforcing new regulations immediately:

• Any member who uses or posts racist or otherwise hate-speech related material will have their post deleted immediately, and the poster expelled from Norden Verein.

• WWII imagery will no longer be permitted, ever, in avatars, sigs, videos. We invite people to report such content to Verein officials as soon as possible.

• Regarding Stormfront or any other WN websites, if any nation finds proof that a Verein nation belongs to any sort of these sites, that nation will immediately be expelled from the Verein. This was a policy of the Verein before, but apparently it was not clear so we are restating it. It has been brought to our attention that anglo-fuhrer, with his bio, is such a member and is immediately expelled from our ranks.

does anyone else find this as a coincidence or that it correlates with current CN political tensions as well as accusations which are surfacing. (e.g. my thread which I was accused of being racist and expelled). very interesting turn of events. can this be paralleled to a previous occurence? this may be the case....

I can assure you, this is more than just lip service. These guys CARE about turning around the recent lacksidasical attitude towards racists in NoV. Let's give them a chance to right the wrong.

dont know if this will ever fix your alliance's image. This whole racism/nazi ordeal mixing within the game is such bs drama. This is a game, and personal/real life policies should never intertwine with it. Whether its racist remarks, or CN hunting people for using a Nazi supported website.
