Zangmonkey
The governments of Old Guard and Zenith have agreed to terms for their surrenders to Grämlins and Fark. Pursuant to Zenith’s charter, they have begun the mandatory 48 hour vote process. Grämlins, Filipino Heroes and Fark have agreed to a 54 hour cease fire with Old Guard and Zenith pending the results of this Zenith vote. This cease fire began 2-19-10 at 3PM Violations of this cease fire will be discussed and handled by the involved governments. Grämlins and Fark agreed to this temporary cease fire with the understanding that Zenith collectively desires to exit the conflict. If the vote does not pass, or the terms are otherwise refused or violated, Grämlins will consider the cease fire a deliberate attempt by Zenith to delay military action.
Uh, if they vote no to the ceasefire, they're voting yes to war. So what are they going to do to Zenith? Declare war on them? lol. Not really "or else" the way I read it. More like "This is the common sense approach." If Zenith votes no, they want more war, and they'll get it. Seems very simple to me.

mike717
Again we'd like to thank Fark, and Gre (Zenith's opponents) for working with us in this matter. And to OG for being steadfast allies during this time. Just a little further to go.
Given that war is the logical extension of any refusal to peace, then what would be the point of including such a warning on perception of deliberate delay? If there is no consequence to said perception, then it's inclusion as a written warning just gives an ominous implication to those that do not bother to gather all the facts, or do not want to acknowledge them. That, in turn, translates into bad PR, and comes without any form of benefit.

I take back the part where I gave Gre the benefit of the doubt. It's not undermining if it's a democratic alliance, and they're required to vote. It's not like they made up a new rule just for this war that says they have to vote before withdrawing from a conflict. (Or maybe they did... *DA DA DUM!*) Start thumpin', thumper.
