sippyjuice Posted January 11, 2010 Report Share Posted January 11, 2010 An announcement from GDA We at GDA have been getting to know our partners down at OO, and we decided that a mere PIAT was not enough to define our relationship. So we have decided to take the next step up to an ODP. Here's to a further deepening of our ties. o/ OO o/ GDA Preamble:This treaty is signed and agreed upon in good faith, as a gesture of the hope for future friendship, and cooperation. Section I: Sovereignty: In the signing of this treaty both Alliances will remain Independent, and retain their Sovereignty. Section II: Non-Aggression - No member of either alliance shall participate in war, or provocation of the other alliance. - No member of either signatory will aid, or give information to a known enemy of either alliance, whether it be a single nation, or a whole alliance. - No member of these alliances shall ever spy on the other alliance through the forums, or through in game features. - Such reparations, as well as any subsequent punishment for the infringing nation shall be discussed and agreed upon by the leaders of both alliances, with the ultimate aim to restore harmony between the two groups. Section III: Optional Defense: Should either signatory be attacked by an outside nation and/or alliance, the other signed alliance has the option to help the defending signatory defeat its aggressor using reasonable force and or resources in any manner they see fit. It is also agreed that this document does not override other higher level treaties held by either signatory. Section IV: Intelligence: Both signatories agree to inform each other of potential large scale-wars in which one signatory may be involved. Both signatories also agree to inform one another if intelligence that pertains to the other party, including war and espionage. Section V: Aid: The signatories of this treaty agree aid is central to the growth of new and developing nations. Both recognize the need for each to have control over their domestic affairs and as such Inter-alliance Aid shall be given only if both signatories agree. The primary source of aid for new and developing nations shall be from their own alliance. Demands for aid, from individual nations will be ignored and reported to both alliance leaders. Section VI: Cancellation: This Optional Military Defense Pact will be canceled should any of the above clauses are not followed correctly. Additionally it may be canceled upon the request of either signatory, given 72 hours notice and a formal announcement on the CN forums. No, they were using there MDP (?) with AzN as their big stick. But congrats to NAU, I guess, now you have another level of protection. To correct this, after that raid situation AzN and Asgaard had some talks together, AzN agreed to take on NAU as their own protectorate. If she or OO feel the need to announce it, they will.
