Tygaland Posted December 7, 2009 Report Share Posted December 7, 2009 On behalf of Silence and the Siberian Tiger Alliance I am pleased to announce an upgrade of our PIAT to a Mutual Defence/Optional Aggression Pact. The STA has a long history with many members of Silence from the days when they were members of DNA and LEN so it is pleasing from a personal perspective to see that close friendship continue with this treaty upgrade. Tiger's Silent Transgression Pact A Mutual Defence-Optional Aggression Pact Between the Siberian Tiger Alliance and Silence Preamble In honour of the long developed relationship between The Siberian Tiger Alliance (STA) and Silence, we hereby agree to the following terms. Section I The governments and constituent members of the signatory alliances remain sovereign from each other. Section II The below signed agree not to authorize or condone attacks or espionage by a member of one signatory on another. If a nation is found to be in violation of this they will be ordered to offer peace and pay reparations equal to the damages done or alternatively whatever is agreed upon by both parties. Section III If a signatory obtains information regarding a direct threat to the other signatory, they will immediately notify the government of the other alliance, providing the relevant information. The source may be disclosed at the original recipient's discretion. Section IV Any act of war declared upon a signatory is hereby considered an act of war on the other signatory, and will be met with the combined might of both signatories. This section will be rendered optional if either party is brought to war by way of outside treaty. Section V By ratifying this treaty, the signatories agree that they may request the assistance of the other signatory with any aggressive military action taken. Providing a good reason for the request is given, the signatory is expected to fulfil the request, but not obligated to do so. Section VI Should the need be found to cancel this treaty, the cancelling alliance will provide written notification to the other alliance 48 hours prior to enforcement of the cancellation.
