Raithen Posted December 2, 2009 Report Share Posted December 2, 2009 "Even the Gods make Mistakes" A MDoAP between Olympus and SNAFU Preamble: It's been a while since SNAFU first stepped atop Mount Olympus to visit the Titans. But it wasn't long before great friendships were made. Now several days a week, after work; SNAFU rides their tandum bicycle to the top of the hill to have a glass of wine with Olympus. It will now be made official that there exists an undying love between these signatory alliances, and it is gives me great pleasure to announce this MDoAP. Article I: Non-Aggression The gods atop Olympus hereby agree to refrain from turning members of SNAFU into stone, or conducting acts of espionage with their all-seeing powers. While SNAFU agrees that no matter how fouled the situation, we will never inflict pain upon members of Olympus or spy in any way. Article II: Intelligence SNAFU and Olympus agree to share all important information freely between each other. Should SNAFU notice a crack in the mountain on their ride up, we will inform Olympus of such crack. And if Olympus were to notice that the situation is indeed all fouled up, they will make sure SNAFU is aware. Article III: Aid The signatories are encouraged to engage freely in all forms of trade with each other, but are not required to conduct such trade. Article IV: Mutual Defense SNAFU understands that defending a mountain can prove to be beneficially and hence we hereby agree to come to the aid of Mount Olympus should a situation arise. Olympus also agrees to come off their mountain and flank enemies in defense of SNAFU should the need arise. Article V: Optional Aggression If Olympus come down the mountain to attack their enemies, SNAFU may also choose to come along, but isn't obligated to. Similarly, if SNAFU chooses to fight in an offensive war, Olympus can also join the mad rush, but isn't obliged to Article VI: Cancellation If the gods were to realize the mistake they have made, the treaty may be cancelled with 7 days notice, in which the treaty will still be active for that period of time; and Vice versa for SNAFU.
