If this is successful, we will emerge as the most powerful group on earth and unchallenged masters of the Pacific.

The diplomat that stepped off the plane was a young woman of apparently Chinese origins. Her face was carefully schooled to be neutral as she looked around to see who was greeting her...

He walks into the light. The first look into his emotionless grey eyes betrays his identity as the one and only Vladimir Putin.
"I.. have been waiting for some time. My associate has gone and fetched the representative from Indonesia. Please. Sit down and drink some of this filtered water from the Kazak SSR. It is the filtered tears of gypsy."

This was about the time Ms. Lin arrived. "Aren't those supposed to repel certain things?" she asked with a smile.

Lin nodded to Putin, then to the Empress, taking the seat that was indicated as hers. "Wouldn't it be your plan, technically? You invited us, after all," she said, with a small smile. "in any case, I am interested in hearing more about this plan.

"The plan in discussion is a simple plan. We shall form a defense bloc, and use it to annihilate all dissent powers in the Western Pacific, namely Vietnam and maybe the USSA if they are non-cooperative. After that, we can build up our position, establish friendly relations with the Kuwaitis and summon enough power to remove the British threat from our continent. With the British removed, we can begin opposing those cursed Americans until they crumble before our unity..."

"Why Vietnam? You must know that Indonesia is constrained from helping in any war with them--we have a non-aggression pact with them."

Pretty much the way Indonesia had presented itself to the world. "If you wanted to expand further in Asia itself, I doubt Vietnam would protest very loudly. They wouldn't dare."
