If you preorder L4D2 now, it's 45$ instead of 50$; the demo comes out to the public on November 3-5th, preordering gives access to demo.
I can say that the gameplay is mostly unchanged, the graphics have been optimized, and the weapon sounds are much tighter/better

How does the PC version have better precision over a controller? You're more likely to miss-press your buttons when on a keyboard.
Not to mention, a controller fits better in your hands.
