does land make your eniviroment better? like if you had a population ratio of 40 or more and if i bought land that will make it go down to like 30 ratio will that make my eniviroment better?

You also get +1 enviroment once you pass 80 tech. There are some other options in "My Government Position" that give you an extra enviroment point.
