Our Current Government:

Our Charter:

Article 1 - Joining
To join The New Empire, an applicant must post an application in the "Applications" forum, where it will be reviewed, and a decision to accept or deny must come within 5 days.
Upon acceptance, the applicant is eligible for $6million in aid, either direct or in the form of a tech deal.

Article 2 - Government
The government of The New Empire shall consist of 3 members of the high council.
The council may appoint ministers to oversee a specific department by a unanimous vote.
Should a member of the high council resign, the leaving member may appoint his own successor, to be approved by the remaining council members.
Should a member of the High Council be found guilty of Treason or other High Crimes, (s)he may be removed from office by a unanimous vote of the high council and ministers.
Ministers can be removed by the High Council at any time, should the high council deem it necessary.
Ministers may appoint deputies to assist them with their duties.

Article 3 - Leaving
If a member wishes to leave TNE, (s)he must post in the ministry of information stating that they wish to leave and the reason why. If said member had received aid in the last month, they have to pay that back.
If a member wishes to leave the alliance, (s)he must post in the Ministry of Information stating that his/her intentions and reasons why. If said member has received aid in the last month, (s)he is required to repay it.

Article 4 - Code
This is the code that all members must follow


* Members must remain civil to other members as well as other alliances
* All members must obey all orders from government members
* If a member wishes to tech raid, they must first contact a relevant government member to get approval.
* No member may attack a member of another alliance without EXPLICIT permission from a high council member

Should a nation fail to abide by this code of conduct, that nation may be subject to punishments including, but not limited to, expulsion from the alliance, bans from the forums, or a sentence of Zero Infrastructure.
Leaves it open to punishments other than those three.

Article 4 - Wartime
During times of war, all nations are required to come to the defense of the alliance, and to follow the orders of the high council and minister of war

Article 5 - ZI
ZI (Zero Infrastructure) will only be used under the harshest of circumstances. In extreme circumstances, Perma ZI may be used. Only a unanimous vote of the council can approve a ZI.
The New Empire condemns the use of Eternal ZI and refuses to practice it.

Article 6 - Amendment
This document may be amended by unanimous vote of all ministers and high council. All sections may be amended except for article 5 and 6

Greetings Cybertronians,

Im extremely pleased to have UINE associate itself today with TnE for its first ever protectorate agreement! its a major step for us and for TnE and we are extremely pleased to be doing this with them. Even though some may argue that UINE is a little bit on the small side to be protecting an alliance, I strongly believe that we have all the tools neccessary to make this relationship successful.

UINE and TnE share a common background of having been founded along similar lines and I think we can teach TnE alot from our story! So without further ado, here is the protectorate agreement!

Keeping Our Kids Safe!

Preamble:
In the interest of friendship, protection, and guidance Union of Integrated National Entities and the The New Empire, agree to the following protectorate agreement.

I. Sovereignty:
UINE and the TNE recognize each other as sovereign and separate alliances.

II. Peace and Respect:
UINE and the TNE will coexist in a state of peace. Neither alliance will attack the other militarily or verbally. Both alliances will remain respectful towards each other at all times and any differences will be handled via private discussion.

III. Protection and Defense:
An attack on the TNE will be considered an attack on UINE. UINE will attempt to resolve such an issue on the behalf of the TNE through diplomatic means before force is ever used. While not required, the TNE may come to the defense of UINE at their choosing if the need for mutual defense is ever requested.

IV. Aid and Progress:
UINE will aid the TNE when able to help them grow as an alliance. UINE also assumes the responsibility for the success and growth of TNE and will offer all the assistance and guidance that it can provide.

V. Aggression and Treaty Signing:
TNE will never declare war on another alliance without first obtaining permission from UINE leadership. The TNE will also receive permission from UINE leadership before signing any treaties with other alliances at any level.

VI. Merging and Disbandment:
In the sad event that the TNE decides it can no longer function as an alliance, TNE agrees to contact UINE leadership. If possible disbandment is an option, TNE agrees to contact UINE within 24 hours to discuss other options. UINE agrees to do everything they can to help TNE avoid such a fate.

VII. Technology Sales and Purchases. As a sign of mutual alliance development support, TNE will instruct member nations to first seek tech deals with the member nations of UINE before buying or selling tech to other alliances.

VIII. Cancellation and Possible Upgrade:
Both parties agree to give each other 48 hour notice before canceling this treaty. Should TNE feel they have outgrown the need for protection and assistance from UINE the parties will discuss a possible upgrade to a MDP.
