Yesterday, the Territory of American Samoa, an American colony in the Pacific, was devastated by an earthquake knocking out power, water and phone service across the island. 20 minutes later, the situation was compounded when a tsunami devastated all low lying areas of the island and destroyed the capital, Pago Pago, which is home to 11,000 people.

This happened yesterday pretty much. Makes me glad I don't live in Samoa/American Samoa though.

Saw this in the news already, it's pretty devastating. My heart goes out to all those involved to have a quick and speedy recovery.

God. You're making it sound as if it was only flu.
