Greetings to all, royalty and peasants alike, there is an upcoming Starcraft : Brood war tournament sponsored by the Rosular Kingdom. The tournament is scheduled to take place next Saturday (10-3), 19:30 EST and is expected to last up until 21:00 depending on average in-game time spent. There is a maximum of 32 slots available for all who wish to participate. The overall winner of the tournament shall receive a complementary gift of $3,000,000 or 100 tech plus a handshake from yours truly (don't worry, ill make sure to wash before and after).

If you would like to sign up, please post your battle.net user name below (we will be playing on the US East server). Also, be sure to read up on how to forward your router ports here : http://www.portforwa...routerindex.htm Click on your router then click on "starcraft", it offers an in-depth guide on how-to host properly (its not required but it will allow you to host games)

More information will be provided the day before the tournament to those participating.

The maps played in the tournament will be iCCup made maps.

Of the list, there will be 7 allowed for tournament play;
Python
Rush hour
Peaks of beakdu
Yellow
Tau Cross
Medusa
Blue storm


You can download this map set for free here just make sure you put the file in your maps folder under starcraft

depending on how this one goes there will be more tournaments in the future (bigger prizes, "special" melee, different maps, etc...)

However for this one to even start we need at least 12 people. Come on don't be shy, doesn't cost you anything to sign up.

I suck at melee maps honestly, more of a UMS type guy, though I could give it a shot the next time there's a tourny.
