Operation Heaven’s Weapon
The Buryatian Royal Rocketry Brigade begins construction of a new defense system for Buryatia’s nuclear weaponry. Although in the initial phase of construction and implementation, the system called “Angels’ Tears” would be a backup system in the event of the failure of Buryatia’s Strategic Defense Initiative.
If a nuclear weapon managed to bypass Buryatia’s SDI, and managed to destroy the capital and Military High Command, the Angel’s Tears system would begin a countdown. The system would transmit the Level 1 Nuclear Access codes to the appropriate military bases across Buryatia. Three minutes after this occurs, the Highest ranking three government officials, according to the Government Emergency Succession Act, will have fifteen minutes to enter their access codes to stop the countdown. Once the countdown reaches zero, an automatic command is sent to all missile silos and nuclear submarines ordering them to launch the nuclear deterrent.
