Millions of Filipinos protest in EDSA Avenue, while thousands of protesters attempt to storm Malacańang Palace, the President's official residence, and several other government buildings. Military under presidential orders use force to disperse protesters.

All protests are put down by force. Thousands are dead, millions are injured.
June 12, 2010
Philippine Constitution is suspended, government officially becomes totalitarian. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is declared as Supreme Leader.
January 13-20, 2011
Military becomes dissatisfied with the government and launches a coup. Since the Government relied on the military to project their power, the coup was successful and the Government collapses. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is detained, charged with crimes against the Filipino people and executed. Order and stability is lost.
February 1, 2011
The military takes over the Philippine islands, the nation's official name is changed to Imperial Philippine Empire. Commander Carlos Santos becomes Supreme Leader. Peace, order and stability is restored. The new Government promises to be more benevolent.
