The following invitation was sent out to the leaders of New England, the Republic of Tahoe, Viniland, and the Imperium of Man.

Greetings, fellow North American leaders,

As promised, upon my innaguration, I invite you all to a summit in Redemptio to discuss security, unity, and friendship upon the North American continent. Please respond post-haste if you plan on attending or not.

"Prime Minister Pasquale Bianchi will attend the conference. Arrangements are being made for his voyage to the Federation."

"President John F. Kennedy himself and Secretary of State Franklin D. Roosevelt will attend the conference. They will be on their way to Redemptio shortly."

Foreign Minister MacDonald will attend. Stated goals are to end the antagonism between Pravus Ingruo and New England

The Redemptio Grand Hotel was the site for the summit between the five giants of the North American continent. Tom Dobbs, admittedly, was nervous. This was going to be a huge step, not only for him personally, or for the Federation, but for the North American continent as a whole. Finally, north, west, northeast, southeast, and south could be unified under a common banner and goal.

Once everyone was there and seated, Dobbs smiled, stood, and staightened his navy blue suit. "Greetings, esteemed leaders of North America. Thank you all for agreeing to attend this conference in our country. I know that the relations between my country and yours have sometimes been strained. I would like to address that first, before moving on to issues of North American security and sovereignty."

The Imperator nodded gravely to their host. While the Xaristani President fiddled with his uniform, the Imperator slightly nudged the partial mask on his face into a position which didn't block his artificial eye. The mask was designed to resemble a stylized skull, similar to the Chaplain Power Armor Helmet. It went nicely with the Imperial Uniforn, adorned as it was with all manner of spikes.

"It is an honor to be represented, Mister President. I wouldn't go so far as to say relations were strained between our countries; perhaps simply nonexistent?"

Both President Kennedy and Secretary Roosevelt grinned. "Ah, yes. Relations between New England and the former Xaristan (now Pravus Ingruo) were very strained, indeed. I hope to improve our relations, and it is an honor to be here in Redemptio, indeed." Kennedy stated, as Roosevelt nodded in agreement.
