The Imperium Romanum and The Roman Empire have long been friends, and have recently discovered their shared love of kitties. To commemerate this love of kitties and their friendship, they have signed "The Roman Accords: A Kitty Production".

The Roman Accords: A Kitty Production

I: Preamble
The Roman Empire and Imperium Romanum, two sovereign alliances, wish to confirm their friendship in this treaty of Peace, Intelligence and Aid Treaty (PIAT). The purpose of this treaty is for mutual prosperity between both of the signatories.

This treaty is signed in good faith, and is based upon the ideals of friendship and cooperation common to all of us. It is signed not only in the pursuit of peace, but also in the hopes that both signatory alliances will work together to actively pursue a better future and to ensure that cooperation will take the place of violence and rash aggression.

II: Peace
Both signatories agree to refrain from all attacks upon each other. Attacks shall include declarations of war and espionage (in-game, IRC, and forums). Any attack shall be attempted to be resolved using the proper channels. If this proves fruitless, the treaty shall be considered a breach of the treaty and it shall be null and void after the withdrawal period has expired.

III: Intelligence
If either Party receives sensitive information regarding the other Party, they agree to share said information and the source of it with the intent to protect the security and honor of both Signatories.

IV: Aid
One signatory may ask the other for monetary aid. If it is found that the other can handle the request without endangering the welfare of its nations, aid shall be given. In all cases, an explanation is expected to be provided to the one signatory if the other signatory cannot fulfill its request for assistance.

V: Trade
The Signatories agree to open their trade market(s) to each other on their respective forums and to interact with members of to increase the viable and enriched trade market. In addition, the undersigned agree cooperate in the selling and purchasing of tech. Representatives of the undersigned alliances shall coordinate efforts to expand opportunities for member nations to participate in technology deals.

VI: Kitties
Both Signatories agree to use their relationship to promote the welfare of kitties everywhere. Both parties agree to use peaceful methods to promote the welfare of kitties but shall take military actions if necessary. Furthermore, both parties agree to fully utilize the cute fluffiness of kitties to further their relations through means of huggling kitties.

VII: Withdrawal
If either signatory alliance wishes to withdraw from this treaty, they may do so by the express will of their respective decision making bodies. Should this treaty be revoked by either alliance, official notification initiates a forty-eight hour grace period, in which neither alliance may engage in any hostile actions against the other.

This treaty is immediately rendered null and void, regardless of the previously mentioned provisions, should either signatory alliance take military actions toward an entity linked to the other signatory alliance by a declaration of mutual protection.
