Grøenlandia (FRG) has always been a Roman Catholic nation, with about 78% of the population (13,341,851) ascribing to the faith. Most Groenlandians are weekly church goers who truly believe in the Catholic ideals instilled in them. Unfortunately, Grøenlandia has been in a period of Sede Vacante, meaning that the heads of our dioceses are currently vacant. The Grøenlandian Roman Catholic Unity Association (GRCUA), a conglomerate of Priests and church officials has been formed with the goal of uniting the Grøenlandian church under the true banner of Catholicism.

After much review, the GRCUA came to the conclusion that the church being led by John Paul III is not genuine and not the true messenger of God. GRCUA issued the following statement, particularly to the Tahoe Republic.

Greetings brothers and sisters,

We, servants of God and his son, do swear allegiance to Archbishop Patrick Wood, Patriarch of the West, as the true leader of the Roman Catholic church and wish for his wisdom and guidance. We humbly request you appoint bishops for our dioceses so that we may jointly rejoice and praise our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Archbishop Patrick Wood, Patriarch of the West gives homilee before consecrating new bishops

"My brothers, the Church is in a sad state. The See of Peter lies hidden under a viel and the Holy Father has ascended. I have taken it upon myself to lead the Western Church in this time of sede vecante. As you know, the Grøenlandian Roman Catholic Unity Association has asked me to consecrate Bishops to increase the Faith of Believers in those Lands and I must do so for the work of the Church is all important."

Archbishop Patrick Wood, Patriarch of the West is in Höfuðborgarsvæðinukrokurfjordur to consecrate six new bishops for the Church in Grøenlandia. First to be consecrated is Archbishop Eirik. Eirik has been a priest serving communities in Grøenlandia for fourty years and will dutifully serve as the head of the Grøenlandian Church as Archbishop of Höfuðborgarsvæðinukrokurfjordur.

Next, the Patriarch Patrick, assisted now by Archbishop Eirik consecrates the five ordinary bishops to serve in the major diocese of Grøenlandia.
