Get used to seeing this a lot more. Here's the "grassroots Obama movement" in action:

I do love it when people make stupid and baseless comparisons to fascists. You insult people who have lived under such tyranny, now shut yourself under a rock and reflect on your shame.

None of this would be happening if we hadn't elected a communist, muslim, non-American into office! If only the Jewish media didn't suppress the truth!

Strawman. Fail. Never said he was Muslim or non-American. Never said anything about Jews.

God...this crap again. I'm not even going to correct you for making yourself look foolish for making such an assumption.

But, seeing as how you are the one comparing a fairly and legitimately elected president to brutal fascists, I wonder if I should even care.

 Someone who used the phrase "Obama's Brownshirts" is lecturing me on post quality?

I'm actually surprised you used "brownshirt" as an invective to be honest.

Man, conservatives get so many hyperboles that they can insult their opponents with. They can call them Communists, and (though this...may not make sense) Fascists.

When liberals need to draw useless comparisons, who can we compare people to? Fascists would be the response that makes sense but Conservatives have taken that from us!

Besides, we all know the blackshirts were the cooler guys. So he just loses out more there too.

Yeah, brownshirts were just late to the party the blackshirts started.

To be fair, Rommel wasn't really much of a Nazi, and participated in a plot to kill Hitler.

I want to start a thread on that topic but it's idiotic to hold his blameless for the Nazis when he was one of their leading generals.

True, but it's a bit disingenuous to call him a Nazi. He's no more a Nazi than someone like Guderian was.

And guess what? You don't have to be a Nazi to be complicit in something they are doing, if you are supporting them.

Right...the guy who deliberately disobeyed orders from Hitler to exterminate French Jews, Africans and Middle-Easterners while fighting as the most honourable German Commander in WW2 - way to go buddy.

Fail.

Now, as for the 'brownshirts'. Perhaps we should call them 'green shirts'. In reality, they're just a bunch of low-lifes funded by Obama to cause trouble on the streets - using the same tactics that the brownshirts and the blackshirts utilized.

I think the best way to describe Rommel and the generals like him would be opportunist. They were just fine with Hitler so long as he was leading them to victory in Poland and France, but once the Germans started suffering setbacks, they decided it was time for him to go.

No. Why would a democratically elected politician want to do that? America is a mature democracy, it's not like people are going to be scared (of WHAT?) enough to elect Obama of all people into a dictatorial position.
