Greetings Nations and Alliances of the Cyberverse,
Exactly one year ago the Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations was announced publically on the CN forums. Starting off as a small membership based on a Starcraft clan we grew into what we are today largely because of what I can proudly claim as our own doing. We've stood up and acted upon events that concerned us, such as the Maroon war while remaining neutral in the three major wars that have previously engulfed the Cyberverse during our existence.
Today we stand as Maroon's strongest alliance, still completely committed to Maroon and following our traditions of maintaining good relations with all of its alliances. I hope you will all join me in celebrating our 1 year anniversary, as well as the signing of our latest agreement with fellow Maroon alliance, the Fellowship of Unified Nations:

The Fellowship of Unified Nations and the Commonwealth of Sovereign nations wish to bind themselves to one another for their common good and security.
Article I. Sovereignty
Both signatories are sovereign alliances, and by signing this document each agrees to respect the sovereignty of the other signatory and to take no action which could in any way impair their sovereign right to independence and self-determination.
Article II. Non-aggression
It is agreed that neither signatory will declare war on the other signatory, aid enemies of the other signatory or engage in other actions which can be seen as a violation of the peace between the signatories.
Article III. Mutual Defence
A declaration of war upon one signatory is to be considered an act of war upon the other and must be responded to with the exercise of all available military force when requested.
Article IV. Respect
The members of both signatories agree to remain respectful towards each other in public and in private, even in the face of disagreement.
Article V. Espionage
The signatories agree not to engage in acts of espionage against the other signatory of this document. Each signatory agrees to provide any intelligence gleaned about the other signatory in a timely manner.
Article VI. Termination
In the case that either party feels it necessary to terminate this treaty, they should first inform the other signatory of their intention, and are required to wait 72 hours before termination to allow the signatories to discuss their problems and attempt to work out any differences. This document can be reinstated by mutual consent at any time during this period, and is in full effect until the period has been exhausted.
