I'll make my choice first.

Lets start with the boiler room. In there you have people who should work at colleges as professors of science. They make long paragraphs on the most boring things and if I ever had them as teachers I'd fall asleep in class everyday. They argue over and over with each other about politics, science, and religion like it is all they can think about.

Here in the Water Cooler we have people who like to talk about pirates vs ninjas, what kind of music they like, the lastest video games, and other fun things. These are the people who like to party all night long.

So I voted the people of the Water Cooler.

Er...I kind of post in both. You'll find me making rather long posts in the religious topics right now, in fact, while I'm also arguing about pirates and ninjas in their respective topic.

Oh, and greatswords versus katanas, I guess.

I post MUCH more in the Water Cooler

In the BR, however, I go in there and read a lot of debates and points, and post once in awhile.

Voted Water Cooler just because though

I just post the odd thing thing the boiler room to try an inform people. Seems to be a few ignoramuses there. I also like to get my point across.

I'd post in the water cooler more often about random things but every time I go in I only see threads on American Football.

There's 2 types of opinions.

My opinion and the wrong opinion.

or to put it another way, you got so decisively owned in your "I can prove god doesn't exist" thread that you decided to create a passive aggressive flame thread instead.

Boiler Room

It tends to be a lot more intersting then the water cooler. Don't get me wrong, the WC is good, but you'll forget the things there quickly and the same can't be said for the BR.

We're not all fifteen years old and enthralled by what color socks are best to wear to prom or others' stance on the issue of cake vs. pie.

Once upon a time I had post counts upwards of 10,000 on numerous internet forums. Now that I don't have unlimited time to kill, and have read a dozen or more threads on just about every trivial matter that the Water Cooler can conceive, I've realized that quality is superior to quantity.

So while I understand why the WC exists and what its draw is, it's not really my bag anymore.

Being a member of the Boiler Room regulars, I would say we > Water Cooler.

Dont post often at all in the Boiler Room, but I like it there better because people have slighlty more intelligent conversations and dont sound or act like 13 year olds for the most part.

Boiler room, it's more interesting and the repetitive chatter which goes nowhere is interesting, at least.
