CN Diplomacy map wouldn't be that much fun. Diplomacy, in general, is starting to bore. There's just not enough intelligent people left on StarCraft. Granted, back in 2002, there wasn't a lot then either, but the numbers have seriously begun to shrunk considerably.
Also, I don't play SC anymore. My old account name was FuRy[RoMe]. I've been trying to get back on lately, but for some reason I randomly lag now. So...I don't know if it will happen.

Latency has been an issue for me as well. As a result, I started using Hamachi to run LAN's and it's been awesome.

Ugh. People like you are why I stopped playing SC...
BTW, I do not have Vista. Don't make assumptions. I have Windows XP. Diplomacy maps are NOT the easiest ones. They are in fact rather challenging, despite the many strategies that go into them.

A Diplo (Diplomacy) map is a game that models some part of the world, usually Europe, but there's Asian & American diplo maps, as well. The basic object of the game is to conquer cities, usually denoted by a gray tower. At the end of each turn, the amount of cities you have, will generate cash, I.E. revenue (tax) from them. You fight with the other players, and see who can come out as the last nation alive.
That's the basic gist, anyways. Lot of variations on how they go about that, but my favorite map would have to Blood & Iron v.NN. It follows the same basic concept, with some variations.

Only playing original is really gay. Seriously, the expansion has to be under 10 dollars by now. They really fixed a lot of balance issues in Brood War. Terran NEEDS medics to survive the early game and dark templar are good for protoss because it makes the opponent get detectors.

I have both, but that doesn't mean I like both. I don't like medics. I would rather just build more marines. Savvy?

Since Blizz nixed LAN support, I will not be picking up SCII. I was annoyed that each campaign will essentially be a separate game, but I got over that once I learned how in-depth each campaign would be. However, removing LAN support in order to force everyone to battle.net is ridiculous.

yea LAN is fun, but for those who don't live in a city or town its impractical. I like that it doesn't lag but other than that I hate LAN.
