Today I promise the whole of Cyber Nations that I will not eat meat for two weeks. Starting from now July 14 2009 until July 28 2009.

Rules
  • I shall not eat meat these 14 days
  • I shall not eat any food that is soaked in the juice of meat
  • I shall check everything to make sure there is no meat in it.
  • I will post picture's of the meals I will eat when possible
  • When one or more of these rules are broken you guys can choose the anthem I will sing and place publicly on Youtube, and you can choose a new avatar for me that I shall wear for a month(The image must compile whit the forum rules.).

Recipes can be PMed or publicly posted here.

:war: Let the war on meat begin. :war:

If you people start making "eating meat" jokes I swear my faith in humanity will just crash straight through the deck of the Enterprise and suck us all out into space.

I never thought of the CN forums as a space ship. I've always thought of it like a Central Park in Cyber Nations City. But anyways, try boiling brocoli in water and then stir-frying it with oil and a bit of salt. You are only going to taste the oil and salt, but you have to admit that oil and salt tastes goooood. :awesome:

oh. right. veggie recipies.

veggie stir fries. eat fruit salads. for the latter, cut up watermelon, mango, strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, oranges, whatever and put it in a bag/bowl covered overnight in the fridge.

for stir fries

onion
green onion
green/red/orange bell pepper
garlic
celery
carrot
mushroom (white button or similar, not portobello for this)

add oil/butter to skillet, heat, brown onions and garlic, keep adding in other ingredients. mushrooms should be cleaned of dirt, cut off dry part of stems, they're done when the water they give up is re-absorbed in the pan. add some salt/pepper to skillet. on the side, cook some rice. when it is almost done, add to skillet to finish cooking. garnish with spices and enjoy. i'm leaving out amounts because frankly i dont know what you like. leave it up to personal taste.

also learn to make falafel

The only way you can stop it Spock is by injecting this thread with red goo.. and then get sent back in time? And then you're on that ice planet.. saving Kirk with a torch? And Scotty's there with a gremlin... I mean ffs Spock, IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!

It's easy. Tons of pasta.

And cheese.

And bread.

Easy.

I am sure nobody will make one.

Be careful of sausage, you may get random cravings but do not give in.

I predict you will not survive these two weeks, especially as your avatar will remind you of bacon.

May I ask why you're doing this anyway? Seems fairly unnecessary as I doubt your valiant struggle will inspire many other people to quit meat.

But if you must, wean yourself at first by eating a lot of mushrooms. They have meaty flavor while still being meatless. And try fried vegetables like okra and pickles, in appropriate oils like peanut and sunflower.

I like the idea of being a vegetarian, but...how could you survive without sesame chicken?

I also like the idea, but I cannot live without my hot dogs and cheeseburgers.

1) Please use coherent sentences, with punctuation, at all times.

2) Vegetarianism is actually a very healthy way to live. I've never heard of anybody getting sick as a direct result of being a Vegetarian.
