We's Assimilated the Jack

Preamble
We are the Borg. Our observations indicate a hostile environment exists on Planet Bob for small groups such as our Collective. We also have observed the use of a distinctiveness that your species calls “diplomacy�. This diplomacy is deemed relevant in the hostile environment of Planet Bob and we have assimilated it. Diplomacy will now service us. For maximum efficiency we have used this diplomacy to secure a protectorate for our Collective. We recognize Alliance 002, also known as the Armed Coalition of Disturbed Countries, or ACDC. This alliance is deemed suitable for our current needs. Also, Alliance 002 has their very own cyborg, which we think is cool.

ACDC will now service us as our protector. In exchange, we will not assimilate ACDC at this time:

Article 1
Armed Coalition of Disturbed Countries, hereinafter referred to as ACDC, will advise and aid the Borg in anyway possible. ACDC recognizes that it is in their best interests and the interests of their individual member-states that the Borg does not assimilate them just yet and that the Borg becomes a thriving alliance.

Article 2
ACDC will protect the Borg from attacks by any third party, and will not engage in espionage or warfare against the Borg or any of her member-states. In return the Borg will not engage in espionage or warfare against ACDC and any of their member-states without the permission of the government of ACDC. The Borg will also not attempt to assimilate any member-states of ACDC or her allies without first gaining permission from the government of ACDC. Any violation of this article by ACDC or the Borg will void this whole treaty.

Section 2a. The Borg recognizes that ACDC must honor all of her treaties and that this may lead to a delay in ACDC defense of the Borg.
Section 2b. Any attack on the Borg is an attack on ACDC and all of their respective MDP partners: the two alliances, the Borg and ACDC, declare a mutual sovereignty in this matter. Any attack on the Borg will activate any existing MDP treaties ACDC has against the party or parties attacking the Borg. This activation of MDP treaties is a defensive measure only, as they are essentially being attacked by the alliance or alliances attacking the Borg.
Section 2c. The Borg will not attack any rogue nation or nation with alliance set to 'none' with fewer than ten days of inactivity without authorization from ACDC.
Section 2d. The Borg will not attack any alliance larger than two members without authorization from ACDC.

Article 3
The Borg will, if requested by the government of ACDC, come to the aid of ACDC if ACDC is attacked by a third party.

Article 4
The Borg, as a primarily black-team alliance, will vote for team Senate candidates as directed by ACDC.

Article 5
Amendments to the articles of this treaty require the consent of both ACDC and the Borg. This includes, but it not limited to, upgrading to an MDP and downgrading to a ToA.

Article 6
Should the Borg or ACDC wish to deactivate this treaty they must notify the government of the other signatory of there intentions 72 hours before doing so.
Section 6a. The Borg recognizes that if they cancel the treaty ACDC has the right to request the reimbursement of all aid given from ACDC member-states to Borg member-states. Failure to meet the request for reimbursement can result in military action.
