Re: Exchange of Military Bases


In the light of our recent Mutual Defence Pact treaty, we propose exchanging military bases as a sign of our willingness to stick to the treaty.

We are sending 1 Division (3,250 Soldiers) and half of its equipment plus its tanks and artillery. We wish it be only a medium garrison which can be reinforced if needed be. We will allow no more than up to 20% of our soldier strength and 18% of our tank strength. Locations can be chosen at a later date.

Top Gear will be dispatching 1000 fully equipped and trained men to be positioned at this base. We will also be sending a further 50 tanks to accompany them. This amount will remain as a permanent amount at the base, we may reinforce it with further support should it be necessary in the future, and vice versa.

Our forces have been also dispatched. We have a recently abandoned base near our Second City Washington (OOC: RL Santos) that is suitable for you. It was vacated as we built another nearby for the divisions stationed there. Now it can be used for your forces. We request you send a Top Gear flag so it can be flown at the base. We have sent our flag with our forces to fly at our base.

The Curristan Division began to land at Top Gear Harbour from ships and headed towards its base on the northeast coast of Top Gear. Within a few hours, the base had been occupied and its old guns dismantled as it was turned into a ceremonial military base.

We thank you. The garrison will be rotated every six months to give every Curristan soldier a chance to come to Top Gear. This will be a special posting. We would like to ask if we can do ceremonial duties here as a gift to your government.

Absolutely. Such duties shall also be performed in Top Gear, in our traditional, cultural fashion.

The Division that is now stationed in the base will take its orders from the Curristan Army High Command in Jakirata. Its soldiers will be allowed outside the base and will be under Top Gear law. Any soldier who breaks Top Gear law with a serious offense will be shipped home immediately.

Top Gear will grant your men limited citizenship and a Visa to last 7 months, replenished for each Soldier as they enter the country.

We will do the same for every Top Gear soldier that rotates through your base. We can also provide a Burger Mall and Planetbucks in the base so your soldiers have a choice of fast food and coffee without going too far away from the base.
