Lord Kresden Posted May 25, 2009 Report Share Posted May 25, 2009 (edited) Assembled Rulers Greetings, Whereas ARES entered into their current state of war with Avalon in order to fulfill a request for aid by their friends in RAD, and whereas given the agreement to a cessation of hostilities between RAD and Avalon has been reached, then the cause holding ARES and Avalon locked in this mortal fight is no longer driving the wheels of war. Thus ARES and Avalon have come to agree that with no feelings of ill will towards one another and no cause for harming each other, now is the time to turn the swords into plowshares after a battle fought since May 12, 2009. Avalon and the alliance of ARES hereby announce a lasting truce between them. Both parties to this treaty shall order a general stand-down and cessation of hostilities by their forces arrayed against one another to commence immediately following 11:59pm May 24th, 2009[ooc]server time[/ooc]. In the spirit of peace and new found respect from former adversaries both signatories agree to address any possible attacks after that point as swiftly and reasonably as possible including full compensation.
