Arrnea Posted May 21, 2009 Report Share Posted May 21, 2009 (edited) On this day, iFOK has two announcments to make to Planet Bob. Why, might you ask, am I the one making an announcment for iFOK? That is the subject of our first announcment. Our story begins a long time ago (May 14th, actually)... ... so that's how it played out. For clarification, the current Triumvirate of iFOK is: arexes, Triumvir of General Affairs ikMark, Triumvir of Foreign Affairs Arrnea, Triumvir of Internal Affairs tl;dr: Arrnea is the new iFOK Triumvir of Internal Affairs, replacing Spaarlaamp. Our second announcment concerns elections. Up until just recently, the members of the iFOK Government were appointed by the Triumvirate to perform various roles. It wasn't a very clearly-defined system, and generally everyone pitched in at whatever they had time to do. So the Triumvirate did some thinking... and we decided that the iFOK Membership should choose its Government. 120 hours later (thanks to a tie, needing a runoff vote), we had a new iFOK Government elected by the people, for the people.
