President Rothenberg in Albuquerque
Early on the morning of Monday, a helicopter was spotted flying low near the "Rio Communities", south of Albuquerque, in the desert of New Mexico, an area known for its silver mines. In the hours following, approximately 15 trucks filled with between 200 and 300 Enclave soldiers arrived at the mine site.
The silver mine has been peacefully blockaded by community members since yesterday morning, as the Union State Army slowly gains control of the central district of New Mexico. The Enclave enacted a policy of control and expansion of its sphere of influence in the communities created during the lack of a central government in New Mexico. Some of these communities are military-capable to pose serious threat to the Enclave and the American Union State, but the majority consists of small towns, each provided with its own sheriff and elective town council.
The Enclave defined this form of organization as "tribal and very un-american" and is committed to the reunification of New Mexico under one, federal government. Today the enclave is de facto the Government of the Central District of New Mexico and the western section of Tahoe-AUS Interstate 40
An urgent action issued yesterday by the Rio Communities leaders, describes how "three hundred members of the Enclave army corps entered the mine with a wealth of weapons: using tear gas, shots from various types of firearms, dogs, savagely beating the people, and searching the homes of the people who were peacefully guarding access to the mine." Eye-witnesses estimate that there were 150 people from the community blocking the mine when the Enclave arrived.

Enclave troops in Rio Communities
During the raid, Enclave troops began arbitrarily entering and searching homes, as well as confiscating personal possessions in the community of Los Trujillos, and in the "Belen Commune". They were also arresting Community leaders who enacted leftist policies to be spread across the southern districts.
At least 28 people—possibly as many as 35—were detained. Two people, and likely several more, are missing. As of Tuesday evening, the Enclave had released 5 people, while at least 23 remain incarcerated.
